Australia’s weather flips the script, summer in December, winter in June, so pack accordingly based on which coast or season you’re chasing. It’s tropical in the north, temperate in the south, and desert-dry in the centre.
December to February is summer: great for beaches, road trips, and barbecues.
March to May and September to November are mild and ideal for most destinations
June to August is winter: chilly down south, but sunny and warm up north

The weather’s mostly drama-free, unless the Outback decides to crank the heat.
