Thailand’s weather is tropical with a touch of unpredictability, think humid, sunny, and stormy, all within a few hours. Hot and sticky in the plains, breezy by the beaches, and cooler up in the north.

November to February is the sweet spot, cool, dry, and great for beach-hopping or temple trails
March to May is hot season, bring sunscreen and patience
June to October brings the monsoon, fewer crowds, lower prices, and dramatic skies

The rain usually knows when to come and go… unless it’s in the mood to stay.

January (~18–22°C in the north; ~26°C in Bangkok)
